Our Story

Seeing the Need, Creating the Answer

Solid Ground Recovery Centers was founded by individuals with long-term personal experience in recovery who are committed to helping others build stable lives after substance use disorder.

For over seven years, our team has operated sober homes in Frederick, Maryland, supporting individuals as they stabilize, develop accountability, and strengthen their recovery within a structured community.

Our work in sober housing revealed both the challenges and the possibilities of the early stages of recovery. Many individuals seeking help face years of deeply ingrained patterns, strained relationships, financial hardship, and complex personal circumstances.

For them, lasting recovery requires more than simply providing housing: it requires clear guidance, fewer financial pressures, regular clinical support, and plenty of time.

This is why Solid Ground Recovery Centers was founded.

Expanding the Continuum of Care

Proudly Offering ASAM Level 3.1 Care in Frederick, MD

To provide a more gradual transition from intensive levels of care, Solid Ground Recovery Centers offers ASAM Level 3.1 Clinically Managed Residential Treatment: a program designed for individuals who need continued clinical oversight within a residential setting but do not require close medical supervision.

Here, clients can remain engaged in clinical services while beginning to rebuild daily routines, pursue employment, and take on real-world responsibilities.

By combining residential living with clinical care, Solid Ground provides a more appropriate setting for those who need continued direction before transitioning to full independence.
